Cantors
Faith has a “choir” of cantors who, on a rotating basis, help lead our worship.Cantors participate in a monthly forum to improve skills and receive feedback from fellow cantors.
In 2006, our cantors participated in a Cantor Express Workshop sponsored by the National Association of Pastoral Musicians at Cliffview Retreat Center in Lebanon, Kentucky.
In August 2007, Joe Simmons (Prinicipal Cantor at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, NYC) led a week-long formation workshop for Faith cantors and assisting ministers.
Recently, Faith”s unique cantor formation program was featured in The Lutheran magazine.

If you are interested in becoming a cantor or would like to learn more about it, please contact Bonnie Harstad,
Associate in Ministry for Worship.
